ROAD TO WEMBLEY CONTINUES

FA VASE – 1st Round Proper – SATURDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2014

Heanor Town FC travel to the outskirts of Wolverhampton to face Midland League opposition in AFC Wulfrunians.
They only scraped victory at former Borrowash Victoria manager Mark Wilsons new club, Rocester, on Saturday, claiming a 1-0 victory.
At the time of writing Wulfrunians are currently sat 14/22 with 4 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats in their 12 games, 19 points behind league leaders, the unbeaten Long Eaton United FC).

Heanor will be looking to make a real challenge on The FA Vase this season. After beating Holwell Sports in the last round it appears Wulfrunians will be a sterner test, it is down to Heanor to work hard enough to put their name in the next round of the competition and to bring home the prize pot of £900.

Travel is still available for anyone who wants to go, priced at £8 in the bar.

The coach leaves at 11.30am with a short stop planned for the journey.

Come along and support YOUR team.
