Heanor have added talented midfielder Josh Craddock to their squad.
Craddock, previously of Heanor Town FC U21 and Belper Town FC Academy has returned from a successful time on a scholarship in Hawaii.
Playing as a sixteen year old in Heanor Town FC U21 showed his quality, putting in a string of man of the match performances before Belper Town FC lured him to Christchurch Meadow. Ending the season in the team of the year it was no surprise to see Craddock earn a scholarship.
Whilst in Hawaii he finished second in the state championship.
Manager Glen Clarence said, "I'm glad Josh chose Heanor after returning from Hawaii. He had the choice to stay there but his next season didn't start until August and he just wanted to play. I am pleased to say we've signed a tall, strong, talented midfielder to our squad ready for Saturday."
"A number of clubs were chasing his signature and we had to move fast, but we have got our man. He joins a list of talented young players at the club and a fixture against Sporting Khalsa is the best way to show his quality."
The Lions travel to Sporting Khalsa FC looking to bounce back from their first defeat in five.
