Heanor Town FC are pleased to announce the signing of 20 year old forward Joe Swindell from Rainworth Miners Welfare FC.
He is a player Heanor have been waiting to sign for a while, waiting for international clearance after Swindell made appearances for Ekerd College in Florida whilst studying International Business.
Swindell came through the ranks at Nottingham Forest, progressing through the academy up to reserve team level. Current Heanor player Jack Andrews featured in the same reserve team.
The 6ft striker, who turns 21 next month, is a vital addition to the Heanor Town FC squad with recent departures leaving the squad looking a little short on numbers.
